Two weeks ago a 22-year-old fell into the Tiger Sanctuary at National Zoological Park Delhi when he tried to throw rocks at the animals. He was consumed shortly thereafter. On Monday in Florida (go figure) a construction worker lost his thumb to a 300 pound Bengal Tiger.
“He approached the cage and put his hand in, and the tiger bit his thumb off,” said property manager Jason Frein. “There are signs on the cage that say, ‘Do not approach the cage.'”
We are not sure if they will be able to re-attach his thumb, or if the Tiger ate it. We’re thinking the latter.
