I was just watching a show about Abu Dhabi and how the billionaires who made their money from oil are taking that money and dumping it back into real estate. This is a good thing, but in ways it doesn’t make sense. I mean Burj Khalifa is almost a kilometer tall, but it doesn’t really have a purpose outside of looking awesome.  Imagine if they took those billions and started constructing a worldwide vactrain network.  How badass would it be to travel around the world faster than any jet?  Y0 billionaires, make this shit happen.
