No this isn’t an Onion article, although we wish it were. A 53 year old woman (who will go unnamed to protect the identity of her daughter) has been arrested for plotting a rape so that she could become a grandmother.
This is not funny.
Apparently, the 24 year old girl had shown no signs of wanting to become pregnant, so her mother decided to take matters into her own hands. She hired 33 year old Finus Fetnadi to rape her daughter outside of Burgersfort (South Africa), and instructed him not to use a condom.
Both Fetnadi and the mother were arrested after the daughter was raped and came to the authorities. The poor daughter must now wait to see if she’s actually pregnant.
Wow mom, great job emotionally butt f*cking your daughter for the rest of her life.

Not only was this horrifying, debasing, dehumanizing act committed, but the person one would naturally fall back on to understand and help her through this terrible time, is the one that ARRANGED the attack in the first place!
So now this woman not only has to deal with the repurcussions of rape, hiv and other testing, not only betrayal of the person that gave her life in the first place in the most disheartening and soul crushing way, but now she’s gotta deal with every a**hat on the internet cracking jokes as well?

May the woman in question get counseling and all the help she needs from caring individuals and a little less callousness from everyone else.

I agree with what Lourdes says. While the desire to become a ‘granny’ may be instinctive but to ‘arrange’ the same is NOT FUNNY at all and should be detested in the strongest terms. My heart goes out the lady for the mental trauma she might suffer for the rest of her life and one can only pray that gets over (easier said than done) the incident and moves on with life.
