A miner who is currently trapped underground is fortunate that his wife cannot get her hands on him at the moment. She met his girlfriend at the opening of the mine and discovered he has been carrying on an affair.

Both women were holding vigils for Yonni Barrios when his wife heard another woman yelling his name. The wife says she will not give up her husband, and the mistress has vowed to take him from her.

It’s quite a mess, bur Barrios doesn’t have to worry about it just yet. He’s stuck in the mine and it may be Christmas before he and the other miners are rescued. Until then, food and water will be passed down to the 33 trapped men while the women can continue their battle above ground.
