Halloween is over one month away and for some reason people have already started talking about how their costume is the coolest thing since sliced bread. The store I live by has been selling Halloween candy for like two weeks now. And for some reason, I just can’t get in the mood. It’s still shorts and tank top weather, let’s talk again in mid October.

I don’t find these pics scary or creepy. Most of them are profoundly sad. And some of them are weird. None of them are scary in and of themselves. Some of them like the Chernobyl baby and the Mengele baby are scary because they remind us of horrific events and people. But then again those horrific events and people happened because so-called ‘normal’ people sat back and let the evil or neglectful people run amok.
So who’s really creepy? Us or them?

Actually I’m finding it very, very scary and “creepy” that you’re not finding these photos disturbing on at least a few levels. I find it very sad when we as human beings can look at and actually laugh at others misfortunes (no matter whether it be human and/or animal) nor care how or why said event occurred. Unfortunately I fear that you are part of the mainstream way of thinking.
