You never buy a girl a drink right off the bat. Ever. It’s presumptuous and assumes too much, not to mention highly cliche. Buy her the drink after you lay a good foundation for the encounter by making a good impression and conversation, otherwise you may as well be a waiter.
Whether you’re in her league or not, if you’re smooth and can adeptly command the powers of persuasion then you’re in a league of your own. Read a book called “The Game”.
