I grew up in the US army and have lived in lots of states and even a couple foreign assignments for my dad. Personally, I’ve never heard of anything resembling this photo – it must make a great joke for a lot of people, but it’s not that funny to an American. Our society now is less traumatized by words or images, so there’s no real joke there for us.

If you knew how it sounded spoken by natives, its not really funny. In fact, the language spoken there, Romansh, is essentially latin and pre-dates German, English and the word “Cunt” by probably over 1000 years.
