Many "normal" adults are pierced and/or tattooed, Subdermal implants are simply another option for those who wish to take their art that one step further. I myself am a proud parent of 4 wonderful children - I am also a body modification artist and while a large portion of my clients are teenagers, just as many are adults ranging in age from late 20's to mid 70's. I may not have always had a perfect relationship with my parents, but not once did/have I modified my body out of spite, or to try and upset/hurt them. Just because we are pierced/tattooed or modified, doesn't make us bad people...maybe you should try being a little bit more open minded and stop judging others based on their appearance.
