My neighbor came over the other day wanting me to give him ideas for a paper he’s writing on marijuana. His topic was to explain how weed can stimulate the economy. Since the poor kid is stuck in summer school, I told him we could make an infographic via illustrator instead. This is what we came up with. Here’s to hoping a site full of dick jokes can still score a tenth grader a decent grade.

You left out “The College Days”: In the late 70′s we’ed (!) split z’s that cost $20.00 and it was better than most stuff these days…Everyone shared, so you could get high for free anytime by wandering down the dorm halls (esp. the all-male dorms) and just sniff out the place to be! Cancer causing? The only reliable evidence linking pot and cancer is that some rolling papers may be cancer-causing, but the link is still tentative last I read. But weed doesn’t have chemicals to cause cancer, stupidity maybe, cancer no.
Marijuana isn’t illegal because it is bad for you, you should do some research into when it was first prohibited on a state level. And what the “official” and “unofficial” reasons were.
Educate yourself, most of what you seem to believe is ignorant bullshit certain people (like you) are too stubborn to re-examine.

Lots of people smoke weed. People who have high paying jobs smoke weed. I knew people in high school, and frequently some of the ones pulling the highest GPAs were potheads. Also, recently read studies that found evidence showing that despite the fact that marijuana has more carcinogenics than cigarettes, it promoted faster death of pre-cancerous cells, hence the surprisingly low rates of lung cancer among pot smokers.
Also, it was illegalized back during prohibition. It was demonized, but people were more laid back about keeping it on the DL, so while alcohol found itself relegalized due to public outcry, marijuana did not have the same vocal aggression from the public. Alcohol and cigarettes are bad for you too, you know, but they’re legal.
