bone lick

The only thing that could make this sign more awesome would be to get a BJ in front of it.

Big Bone Lick… You want to lick a big bone? There’s a better one, Beaver Lick might have a better connotation of what you’re really looking for.

  3. Nick says:

It gets better. Big Bone Lick State Park is located in Beaver Lick, KY on Beaver Road. There is also a Sugartit, KY. Kentucky is a pretty awesome state!

ive been there before. its boring as shit. all there is, is a lake with a walking bridge over it that aparently has tar under the water, and then a little building with like 3 replica skeletons of small animals they found in the tar.

Holy crap! Found this on digg to my surprise! This is right next to where I live!

  6. Chris says:

I’ve gone camping there, pretty cool place to hang out…Ironically in a town called Beaver Lick, out side of Union KY.

  7. aa says:

They had a thing for licking in the area, they even have a licking river that runs into the Ohio. It’s a nice place, lived there for a couple years. It’s the mid-west how exciting were you expecting it to be?

  8. zwaloo says:

A “lick” denotes a salt lick, where deer are known to congregate, licking exposed salt veins. They’re notable because it’s more or less easy picking.

  9. bobsmon says:

I visited this park. They have a buffalo herd and some statues of the some of the fosils found there. Was very quite when i was there and the park ranger was very nice. A lick in this sense is a place where the ground is salty and animals go there to get the salt. Big bones refers to the fosils

  10. Pandy says:

I drive past all of those places all the time! It’s pretty much the only thing that makes me happy to live in Kentucky

  11. Pandy says:

I almost took a summer job here. No kidding.

  12. bigeddie says:

Almost as happy as all the dope y’all harvest.
