Tracy you’re a moron. The dog is obviously acting out it’s dream. My old dog suffered from seizures and never once did the seizure manifest itself in the form of the dog trying to run. The dog in the video starts off with little walking movements that become more and more pronounced until something in the dream triggers the dog to run and while doing so gradually brings the dog out of sleep mode to the point of standing up and taking off……….unfortunately into the wall. I’ve done the same thing myself……….usually trying to get to the bathroom. But unfortunately there’s that in between dream and awake state of mind where you’re up and your eyes are open but what you are seeing in front of you is not registering quite right and all the sudden the garbage can becomes a toilet and you don’t realize what you are doing until it’s too late and you regret not putting a plastic lining in the garbage can.

This dog is not sleepwalking, it is having a seizure. I keep seeing this video with people commenting how funny they found it. Canine epilepsy is very common – and not the least bit amusing. I am very disturbed that the videographer is unaware of this dog’s condition.
