Regretful Morning

Kota The Triceratops

Posted November 16th, 2008 at 11:54 pm by

Dear Toys R Us,

I’m sending you an email because I think your new “Kota the Triceratops” dinosaur is taking it a bit far.  As an atheist woman, I feel you are trying to push your religion onto my children.  Some of you believe Jesus rode a dinosaur.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what your hidden agenda is.

Please take this atrocious toy off of the market before I strangle my fucking son for asking me if he can have a  “KotoSaur” 12 times per day.

Truly yours,

Abby the Atheist

I think that this is a bit of an over reaction. If you really think that its promoting the idea of people and dinosaurs coexisting, I can completely understand that. But this toy is quite innocent, its not pushing a blatant message, and has no religious ties really. It would be obvious if it came with a tape of bible stories, and obviously that would give away their intentions. But it seems as though it was basically designed to give kids the enjoyment of having a pet dinosaur, which all kids want really. What 8 year old wouldn’t want a pet triceratops to have fun with?

FAKE! No atheist, no matter how weak in their atheism, would associate a toy dinosaur with the bible because 1, it makes no fucking sense, and 2, THEY DON’T GIVE A SHIT.

It was obviously a sucker of jesus’ thorny cock that put together this moronic joke. And that’s why we need to thin the fucking closet faggot xtians from the herd… IQ’s would go up 50 points… and we wouldn’t be subjected to retarded drivel such as this trying to pass for humor.

No, I.Q.s would not “go up 50 points.” The average I.Q. of a given population is 100, always. That’s the point.

Secondly, atheism doesn’t need people like you. With your anger, you stigmatize our movement and make us all look like hateful people. No one equates advocating genocide with being level-headed. Sure, you were probably exaggerating. I’ve met people that believe it though, so it’s hard to tell.
